About Us
PongPlanet Hayward is a full-time table tennis club located at 258 Jackson St, Hayward, CA 94544. We offer the highest quality courts, equipment and instruction in the area, along with a variety of programs for adults and juniors of all abilities. Many of our programs help ensure a constant progression of competitive and recreational players, as well as the opportunity to engage in leagues and tournament play. We also have open play hours for those interested in doing their own thing, or just enjoying the social camaraderie of our club. For serious players or fitness enthusiasts, we offer Private coaching lessons and robot training. For fun-lovers, we facilitate Birthday Parties & Camps; Corporate Events themed around Ping Pong. During holiday breaks, we offer table tennis camps for kids.
Years Experienced
Our History
PongPlanet grew from the legendary Palo Alto Table Tennis Club (PATTC), a premier Bay Area club with over 24 years of history. PATTC helped develop national-level talents, including U.S. Olympians Ariel Hsing, Lily Zhang and Kanak Jha.
In 2012, PATTC evolved into PongPlanet in San Carlos. Founded by James Guo, PongPlanet expanded to Hayward in May 2025 to serve the East Bay.
Our 5,600-square-foot Hayward facility features international competition-grade tables, professional flooring, tournament-level lighting, 16-foot ceilings, barrier-enclosed courts, air conditioning, private rooms, a Pro Shop, free parking, and Wi-Fi.

No, everyone is welcome for walk-in open play. We offer a day pass for $18 per person. However, our memberships provide additional benefits like unlimited open play access and discounts on select products and services.
Yes, we offer a free trial class for kids up to 13 years old. To get started, please register online and then book your trial class through our online system or reach out to us via email for assistance.
Absolutely! Our students range from 3-year-olds to individuals in their 80s. Table tennis is a lifelong sport, and you can begin at any age.

No problem, cancellations are allowed for a full refund up to 24 hours prior to your booked session.
Yes, we do. Private lesson packages are sold as 10-session packs, with member and non-member rates by coach level. Each session is 55 minutes. See current prices on our Private Lessons page.
It depends. During non-peak hours, you can enjoy walk-in open play with your friends, and we usually have plenty of tables available. However, during peak hours, we recommend reserving a table or a private room for your group.
