Years Experienced
PongPlanet grew from the legendary Palo Alto Table Tennis Club (PATTC), a premier Bay Area club with over 24 years of history. PATTC helped develop national-level talents, including U.S. Olympians Ariel Hsing, Lily Zhang and Kanak Jha.
In 2012, PATTC evolved into PongPlanet, expanding into a full-time professional training facility in San Carlos. Today, PongPlanet continues that legacy with high-quality training, international competition-grade equipment, and a proven coaching system.
Founded by James Guo, who has coached in the Bay Area for over 20 years, PongPlanet expanded to Hayward in May 2025 to promote the sport of table tennis and serve the growing East Bay community.

No, everyone is welcome for walk-in open play. We offer a day pass for $18 per person. However, our memberships provide additional benefits like unlimited open play access and discounts on select products and services.
Yes, we offer a free trial class for kids up to 13 years old. To get started, please register online and then book your trial class through our online system or reach out to us via email for assistance.
Absolutely! Our students range from 3-year-olds to individuals in their 80s. Table tennis is a lifelong sport, and you can begin at any age.

No problem, cancellations are allowed for a full refund up to 24 hours prior to your booked session.
Yes, we do. Our Private Lesson Packages are priced based on the cost of 11 lessons, which means you'll receive one lesson for free.
It depends. During non-peak hours, you can enjoy walk-in open play with your friends, and we usually have plenty of tables available. However, during peak hours, we recommend reserving a table or a private room for your group.
