Discussion

Who This Is For

  • Intermediate–advanced club players aiming to level up consistency, footwork, serve/receive, and match strategy.

  • You should be comfortable with multi-ball/fixed drills and best-of-5 match play.

What You’ll Improve

  • Technical precision: stroke mechanics, timing, spin control

  • Footwork & patterns: ladder/jog warm-up, explosive first step

  • Serve/receive: variations, deception, third-ball setups

  • Match play IQ: tactics, between-points adjustments

  • Physical readiness: power, speed, reaction, recovery

Competitive Ladder & Rewards

This group training is run more like a team therefore has a ranking system and rewarding program for the players who improve throughout the training.

Those who represent our club (registered under PongPlanet table tennis club and wearing a shirt with PongPlanet logo) at the official tournament and win will get credit. 1st place – $30, 2nd place – $20, 3rd place -$10

 Ranking system

First comers will be ranked according to the official rating then by winning or losing, the rank will change.

And each player can challenge one player once a week(between Wednesdays) up to 3 rank higher.

So, for example. Rank 6 can challenge rank 3,4 or 5 and if he wins he will take the place and the other players will move down.

By the end of every month, the first ranked player who has been in the group training more than 2 months will get $15 credit. If the 1st ranked player hasn’t been in the group training more than 2months, the 2nd ranked player will get the prize.

Attendance & Credits

Because this session is run by one coach and relies on pair drills, even numbers matter. Please give 48-hour notice if you need to cancel; we’ll issue credit toward a future group training session.
